Casa de Los Espejos is a perfect vacation rental for one or two couples or a small family of 4 or 5. The two bedroom suites are separated, with their own lovely bathrooms, walk-in closets and private patios. Downstairs, there is a large formal dining room, with antique mosaico tile floors and modern furnishings... a suprisingly pleasant combination. The kitchen is in the heart of the house, opening to both the dining room and the living area, with easy access to everything, and a conversation bar so visitors can chat with the cook while meals or snacks are prepared. The sala is flanked by a wall of glass that opens onto the backyard garden, enclosed by a stone wall softened by hanging and flowering vines. There's an outdoor dining area also, next to a modern fountain that bubbles quietly. The TV room completes the downstairs, a great place to watch the news or read a book, and it has an attached half bath.

Upstairs, the house opens up to the sky, with a high-ceilinged bedroom looking out onto a terrace patio, separated only by a glass wall and flowing white curtains. The sky-blue cement floors in the bathroom bring a lovely contrasting color to the bougainvilla blossoms hanging on the wall around the outdoor shower on one side, and the outdoor plunge pool on the other. The piece de resistance upstairs is the sunny screened-in porch, overlooking the garden downstairs, and minimally furnished with a comfortable day bed... just ready for a good book and a siesta!
